{Giorgi Malania} has announced that he has parted ways with Wu Lin Feng and is now a free agent. The Georgian standout was the reigning -63 kg champion and had largely cleaned out the promotion’s division, defeating the No. 3 through No. 7 ranked fighters in the Beyond Kickboxing rankings on his way to the top of the division. He also recently broke into the pound-for-pound rankings.
Malania shared on social media:
"I’d like to let you know that I have left the WLF organization and am now a free agent. At the same time, I sincerely want to thank WLF. This organization was a very important stage in my career. They gave me the opportunity to develop myself, improve my skills, and most importantly helped shape me into a stronger fighter. I truly appreciate everything I received during this time.
I’m grateful for every experience, every lesson, and all the support. I also want to thank everyone who stood by my side along this journey, your support meant a lot to me. A new chapter begins ahead, with new challenges and new goals. I wish WLF success. It is truly a great organization for those who want to grow into strong fighters. Once again, thank you very much for everything!"
With his all-action style, the Georgian fighter is expected to sign with a major promotion next. Whether that will be K-1, GLORY, or ONE Championship remains to be seen.

Other top fighters already have their sights set on Giorgia Malania.
{Yuzuki Satomi}, the current K-1 lightweight champion, recently called out Malania, saying: “We don't need two world champions. Let's decide who the king is.” and “The only fighter ranked above me in the Beyond Kickboxing rankings. It stings that I'm placed second even though I'm the K-1 champion, so I'd like to fight him for the K-1 belt.”
