Just as quickly as ONE Championship’s lawsuit against Rodtang Jitmuangnon escalated, it now appears the dispute could be heading toward a resolution.
Following Rodtang’s personal press conference, ONE held its own media session the next day with ONE Thailand president Jitinat Asdamongkol and Rodtang’s manager Sor Eh present. According to reports, both sides spoke privately before the event and found preliminary common ground, although nothing has been formally signed.

Early updates suggested both parties were prepared to drop all civil and criminal lawsuits across multiple jurisdictions. There were also indications Rodtang could become a free agent after his scheduled bout with Takeru Segawa, potentially removing the previously reported 12-month matching period.
However, sources from ONE later clarified that no final agreement has been reached and discussions remain at the framework stage of a possible truce. The promotion is reportedly seeking a public apology and retraction regarding disputed statements, along with assurances that no further allegations will be made and that Rodtang will continue to adhere to the terms of his existing agreement until a settlement is finalized. His request to become a free agent after the Takeru fight has not yet been accepted.
