Dutch-Surinamese striker {Regian Eersel} will return to the ring on April 11, taking on {Rungrawee} in his quest to reclaim the vacant ONE Lightweight Kickboxing Title at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. The bout serves as the main event of ONE Fight Night 42.

A rare slip-up on the scales in his third meeting with Alexis Nicolas forced the belt out of Eersel’s hands, despite him taking the win. The 33-year-old was last in action in August of last year at ONE Fight Night 34, where he made quick work of George Jarvis, successfully defending his Muay Thai title with a swift first-round knockout.

Rungrawee also fought on that card, though he has not competed in kickboxing since 2024. Still, after his close win over Bogdan Shumarov, he remains one of the top contenders in the admittedly thin division and should serve as a solid challenger for Eersel.
